Pastor Drexel Brunson, the Senior Pastor of Ocala First Assembly, was born in Florala, Alabama but was raised in Central Florida. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida and the Assemblies of God Graduate School. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities/Religion from Florida State University.
The call to be Senior Pastor of Ocala First Assembly was extended in July, 1999. Prior to that, he has pastored for 17 years in Columbus, Georgia and Fayetteville, North Carolina. He presently serves on the Boards of Global University and the International Media Ministries of Brussels, Belgium, and the African Leadership Council.
He and his wife, Pam, have two children, Jarrod and Kellyn.
