How did you come to OcalaFirst?
My husband retired and we moved to Ocala. We found the church we
would
worship at before buying a house. We are only 10 minutes away.
What is your role at OcalaFirst?
I am the Receptionist/Secretary
What is the best part about your role?
Contact with people. Also praying for the needs that come into the
office daily. Everyone needs to know somebody really cares!
What is your favorite place on the earth?
Believe it or not, but home is my favorite place. I cherish the
time my
husband and I have together. When we are together, no matter where that
is,
that is my favorite place.
What makes you laugh?
Funny movies, children's laughter & corny jokes (I tell them every
Sunday in my Sunday school class before starting the lesson). The jokes
can't be too complicated, I'm blonde you know!
What makes you cry?
I cry when I'm happy...silly me!I cry at sad movies. The most
recent,whole box of kleenex one was, "The Notebook" on DVD. Our family
is
very close and the loss of a loved one is very hard and there are many
tears.
What is your favorite book or movie or tv show?
Fictional Books: Anything written by John Grisham; non-fiction: The
Bible; I have a favorite John Wayne movie, "The Quiet Man." I watch
everytime it is on TV; and finally, 24 on Fox and Top Chef on Bravo.
