Blood Drive
May 18th
This Sunday, from 9 AM to 1 PM, Florida's Blood Centers is having a blood drive here at First Assembly. The blood supply is low and your help would be appreciated. The Big Red Mobil is in the front parking lot. For being a donor you will receive a T-shirt, Lake Diamond Golf & Country Club "buy one, get one greens fees free," and a chance to win a 32" Olevia LCD HDTV.

Pastor T. Carl Thompson's Celebration
May 24th
First Assembly of God, Belleview, to join in the celebration of Pastor T. Carl Thompson's 50th year of ministry with the Assemblies of God, has extended an invitation to our congregation. An open house reception will be held on Saturday, May 24th from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Belleview First Assembly. Pastor Thompson was pastor at Ocala First for ten years. Please sign up at the ushers' desk, in the front foyer, if you plan to attend. The church office must R.S.V.P. Belleview by 3:00 P.M. this Friday, May 9th.

Youth Choir Car Wash
May 24th
Our youth choir is having a car wash this Saturday, May 24th at Aaron's, at the corner of Silver Springs Blvd. and 25th, from 9 AM to 3 PM. Tickets are available from the youth choir members.

Family First Picnic
May 25th
All families with elementary aged kids are welcome to join us for a picnic next Sunday, May 25th from 4-7 PM right here on campus. You will meet by the basketball court for a great time for the whole family. Please bring a covered dish for all to enjoy and we'll provide the fun! Basketball and volleyball are just a few of the fun things planned. And the kids will love this - they will have a big water fight! What a great way to spend the Memorial Day weekend.

Short and Sweet!
May 25th
Next Sunday, May 25th, while our Family First Picnic is going on outside, for families of elementary age children, we will be having a "short and sweet" time of ministry and fellowship from 6-7 PM in the Formal Room. Delicious slices of watermelon will be served.

The 2nd Annual Girls Night Out
June 6th
We will be hosting Comedienne Chonda Pierce Friday, June 6, at 7:30 PM. With an audience of two million fans and five gold-certified comedy albums, Chonda Pierce is called the "Queen of Clean". Her comedy serves a larger purpose, "The punch line is not always the bottom line for me!" she says. "Comedy is just my opening act! We could leave the night with a good laugh and that's great!
